Teams worked on maritime defence and critical underwater infrastructure, using operational scenarios to shape their prototypes.

The MVPs were connected to hardware for an initial operational demonstration and presented to a jury with expertise from Fincantieri, defence and venture capital.

Further development and validation.

Fincantieri’s 15 June 2026 report announced a dedicated acceleration and technology validation programme for selected projects.
